JOB DESCRIPTION

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:-

- to ensure that all team members are delivering excellent customer care

- to ensure that maximum revenue is achieved by reaching targets and upselling

- to liaise with the Kitchen to ensure all food provision is correct and to required standards

- to assist in the marketing of the venue

- to carry out training of all new members of staff

MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:-

- to ensure that all staff are aware of Restaurant and Bar facilities and styles of service

- to ensure that all food and beverages served are of the required standard

- to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that all Restaurant/Bar/Room Service provision is covered between all operational hours

- to work within the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that guests dining in the Restaurant are served promptly

- to work alongside the Bar and Restaurant team to ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained within the food service areas

- to ensure that at all times food and drink hygiene practices are followed

- to ensure that all staff are familiar with Menus

- to confidently handle customer complaints

- to ensure that all staff can take orders and post correctly using EPOS system

- to plan rotas according to business requirements ensuring that over staffing does not occur

- to ensure the required GP% is achieved on all food and beverage sales

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:-

- 45 hours per week on a varied shift pattern, working five days out of seven including Saturdays. Sundays and Mondays off

- No split shifts - only straight shifts
