Central Employment are delighted to working an award winning Full-service Brand interaction and eCommerce agency. They are now requiring a Senior Digital Project Manager based from the their central London studio.

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Digital Project Manager to join our team. Ideally, you will have worked in a digital agency or within an integrated agency, have a solid understanding of the Internet, and an interest in marketing and the online industry. A development background or strong technical understanding would be highly advantageous. The environment would suit a Digital Project Manager who is ideas driven and able to show vision as well as deliver projects successfully.

In this role, you will lead large projects of significant scope and impact. Your ability to work independently with limited direction, communicate effectively with team members, and provide leadership and direction will be keys to your success. You may manage multiple projects and priorities. As a single point of contact between development and account management teams, you will negotiate, resolve problems, and develop relationships at all levels of the organisation as well as with outside vendors and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage digital project plans
  • Meet with and receive feedback from internal and external project stakeholders on an on-going basis
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Gather estimates from production teams and do resources planning
  • Identify and manage dependencies and critical path
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly stakeholder meeting during project delivery
  • Produce and maintain status overviews on all active projects
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify issues, and devise contingency plans
  • Support the accounts team in their vision and commercial goals for the account and its direction

Ideal candidates will have the following knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Experience in planning, delivering and tracking detailed and evolving schedules for a development team
  • Must be able to define and manage complex processes and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgement
  • Resource planning experience including allocation and dependency tracking
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • 4+ years of project management experience successfully delivering projects on-tie, within budget, and in scope
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and a proven ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Possess a basic understanding of core internet concepts
  • Ability to escalate problems for any technical support needed for resolution of problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritising and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience leading teams and providing management, leadership, and mentoring to team members as needed
  • Ability to leverage current practices to develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet or exceed the customer expectations


  • Experience in the delivery of ecommerce solutions
  • Experience in managing integrations with 3rd parties
