Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a key client for a period of 6 months. Sheridan Maine's client is going to be implementing a new accounting system and will require additional support during this time for an Accounts Assistant.

Role duties:

- Sales Ledger.
- Purchase Ledger.
- Credit Control.
- Post journals, accruals & prepayments.
- Assist in preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly VAT returns.
- Ad hoc analysis.

Skills, attributes & experience:

- Strong understanding of finance.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Good communication skills.
- Improve business processes.
- Support line manager.
