A multinational Pharmaceuticals company based in North West London are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their growing finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that encourages progression and development as well as international communications.

The Accounts Payable Clerk will assist the Accountant with the day to day running of the finance functions and the general accounting activities for EMEA shared services providing support to 8 international entities.

Key Responsibilities Include:-

  • Purchase Ledger
    • Purchase invoice processing
    • Purchase order matching
    • Recording and analyzing the employees cash and credit card expenses on a monthly basis
    • Setting up Suppliers on the system
    • Ensuring all invoices are authorised within the Authorisation policy
    • Ensuring all costs are recorded in the correct cost centre
  • Treasury
    • Daily bank receipts and payments processing on ERP system
    • Matching payments to invoices
  • Other
    • Assisting in investigating / resolving invoice processing issues
    • Assist the Account Assistant with Balance sheet reconciliations at month end
    • Assist the Account Assistant with Intercompany reconciliations at month end
    • Liaising with the Auditors at year end
    • Ad-hoc requests

The successful Accounts Payable Clerk must:-

  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be a self-starter that is detail orientated and organised
  • Be positive and have a flexible attitude to work
