One of the companies in our marketplace, a French FinTech company, is looking to hire a Business Developer to work in their office in Canary Wharf, London.

This company is respected internationally for providing leading regulatory reporting software to the finance sector. They have leveraged this reputation to achieve successful expansion into the UK & Irish markets. To aid this expansion, they are looking to hire a Business Developer.

By joining their London office in Canary Wharf (Europe’s largest technology accelerator for finance), the business developer will be part of a passionate and dynamic team within a start-up atmosphere.

The Role:

As a Business Developer your role is to prospect clients within the Insurance sector to drive growth and market visibility of our company’s software.


  • Prospecting clients and scheduling meetings through cold calling/email

  • Working with the business development team to put together pre-sales support material

  • Representing the company at targeted industry events

  • Assist with product development by providing feedback to product development team


  • 1-3 years in Software Sales

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets

  • Excellent communication skills including written, interpersonal and presentation

  • Comfortable working in a startup environment

  • Great initiative with the ability to prospect leads creatively

  • A consultative approach to sales

  • A good understanding of social media tools such as LinkedIn and Twitter

  • English speaker - Native or as a second language


  • £30k Base with an OTE £55k + benefits, uncapped commission.

  • Working in Europe’s largest technology incubator for Finance
