Delegate Acquisition Executive

  • Location: Brighton office
  • Salary: Competitive + Commission
  • Hours of work: USA hours - circa 11AM-7:30PM

Job description
An exciting opportunity to join a fast paced and dynamic media and events company focused on new technology and the 'Internet of Things’. You will be joining a professional, creative and dynamic company, with excellent career progression and great earning potential. You will be directly responsible for growing the audiences at our boutique, tailored technology events.

Your responsibilities:
You will be responsible for building relationships and selling delegate attendance to IoB Media’s portfolio of business events.

Your duties will include:

  • Securing delegate attendance and revenue to IoB’s business conferences
  • Researching and gaining in depth market knowledge about the industry vertical you are working in
  • Building rapport and maintaining strong relationships with clients
  • Collaborating with other departments within IoB and sharing insight and feedback
  • Hitting and exceeding agreed telesales KPI’s
  • Reporting and forecasting your sales pipeline to your manager


  • 2 hours call time per day
  • 3 proposals per day
  • 80 dials per day
  • 3 deals/bookings per week

  • Has a professional telephone manner and is comfortable talking to senior executives

  • Has a degree level education or higher
