Sales Controller - Motor Trade
Our client is a main car dealership who seeks an experienced Business Manager to join their dealership’s busy New Sales department based in West London.
This role, involves controlling the finance, insurance, add-on sales and prospecting activity of number of specialist New Car Sales Executives working on the portfolio of products.
This is a busy, productive and profitable team dealing with a huge number of customers, enquiries and sales leads. The new Business Manager will need to be organised, efficient and prepared to assist the Department Manager in leading the team in all aspects of the dealership’s New Car Sales function.
The main duties include:
*Stacking deals, second-facing customers when necessary, and coaching sales executives to help maximise Finance, insurance and add-on penetration
*Working closely with the Department Manager to help the sales team maintain the RRG Sales Process and CS levels
*Covering sales deals for team members that are on scheduled days off or annual leave; usual monthly sales quota of 4 units, rising to 8 units in March & September.
*Carrying out vehicle part-exchange appraisals / valuations
*Fairly distributing incoming leads and enquiries to the sales team
*Drive Sales Executives’ prospecting activity and providing regular progress reports on the 'sales funnel’ to management
*Assisting the Department Manager with audits of the sales process and other ad-hoc projects
Previous experience with the Renault and Dacia brand is advantageous, but we can consider candidates with sales control experience with other volume brands. We are happy to consider candidates that are currently operating in any of the following job titles: Business Manager, Transaction Manager, F&I Manager, Sales Controller, Deputy Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive.
The working pattern for this role will be 4 weekdays + Saturdays and alternate Sundays.
The weekday hours are 8:30am to 6:00pm. Saturday hours are 9am to 6pm. Sunday hours are 11am to 5pm. There will be one fixed weekday off per week.
In return we offer a basic salary of £25,000 per annum, uncapped commission OTE £50,000 pa, a company car from day one, and a tax-efficient car after just one month’s service.
