My client is a listed LSE and AIM market investment house, offering a range of bespoke services.

They are a fast growing team of financial experts, having built and established a solid experience offering bespoke financial services to the international market..

The role is very much of a junior post, one that can really expand and go further, as they are a huge recruiter within, with great staff retention too.

  • Provide administration support to the dealing, administration and compliance teams.

  • Assist with client queries and support account managers, with their day to day activities.

  • Regulatory and internal reporting

  • General administration tasks as required.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Inputting stock transactions into the settlements/booking system

  • Carry out payment investigations/discrepancies

  • Reconciliations and handling queries.

  • Dealing with customer enquiries.

  • Maintaining the orderly recording and filing o hardcopy documents / related records required to be retained by the firm.

  • General data maintenance

  • Gathering of data for quarterly account manager's performance reports.

  • Ordering of office stationery.

Skills/Experience: Essential requirements for this role

  • Administrations function within a reputable bank, financial institution, or investment firm, brokerage or securities.

  • Related financial markets

  • Conscientious approach with strong attention to details.

  • Strong numeracy skills

  • Able to work within deadlines and at times pressure to markets closing etc….

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which include on-going learning and training opportunities.

  • Effective workload prioritisation.

  • Good team worker.

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision

Desirable:

  • Understanding of the trading and market related topics including CREST.

  • Relevant professional training or qualifications from a recognised awarding body (CISI or IMC)

  • Graduate calibre or equivalent.
