Our client a specialist and successful provider of print and supply products and machinery to some of the UK’s leading Manufacturing, Engineering and construction companies based in Basildon have an exciting new opportunity due to growth for an Internal Sales Executive to join their team.

A company that have been established for over 10 years and have an excellent close knit working environment and with directors who have been in the industry for over 70 years.

A full time role reporting to the director and paying up to £21,000 with a realistic OTE of £30,000 but with an uncapped commission structure the sky is the limit they are now looking for a talented and competitive Internal Sales Representative that will thrive in a quick sales cycle environment.

The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.


• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

• Understand customer needs and requirements

• Route qualified machine sales opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

• Close supplies and print sales and achieve monthly/quarterly targets

• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest, particularly in our own range of media and supplies

• Maintain and expand your database of prospects

• General sales administration duties; placing orders, invoicing etc

• Cover colleagues’ customers when they are out of the office


• Desire to work in a sales environment
• Strong phone presence as will be required to dial dozens of calls per day
• Can-do approach and enthusiastic manner
• Proficient with Excel / Word / Powerpoint / Outlook or similar
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Educated to a minimum of A-Level Standard

Salary and Holidays
• £18,000 – £21,000 per annum, depending upon experience and skills.
• 20 days holiday with bank holidays as additional. 22 days after the completion of a 6 month probation period.
• Bonus paid as a result of hitting targets
• Uncapped earnings
