The role will be developed with French customers although, sometimes, you will deal with customers from other countries. The language in the office is English and meetings and announcements are conducted in English. We welcome any nationality as long as they prove to be fully proficient in both languages.

AnyVan is an online platform that facilitates the movement of items across the UK and Europe at a discounted rate. With over 1,800,000 users and 60,000 transport providers, we are changing the European transportation landscape by bringing convenience and cost savings into a fragmented market. AnyVan currently serves all markets with specific focus on the removals, furniture, international and vehicle delivery markets.

Main Duties

  • To reach the targets and goals set for your territory
  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone or emails; outbound and inbound telesales
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries (within 24h)
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • You will be expected to increase conversion rate of customers who have received a quote through the website
  • You will be expected to represent AnyVan in a positive and professional way
  • Provide pricing and delivery information
  • Perform customer verification
  • Manage customers' accounts
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
  • Good communication flow with line manager, providers and other departments

Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years sales experience (within a call centre a plus)
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Ability to type
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures
  • Numeric, oral and written language applications

3 months provisional period. Salary: £20,000.00/year + commission
