My client is a highly successful manufacturer of electronic components based in Chelmsford Essex. Due to their continuing success they have created a new position within their marketing function to support the Sales and Marketing team. This is a really exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant or Marketing Administrator to really take the next step in their career.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:


• Have an input into creation of a marketing plan aligning to Marketing and company strategy
• Managing internal communications
• Manage external communications to include press releases and newsletters
• Evaluation of successes of marketing campaigns
• Creation of Marketing literature to support the sales process - designing / liaison with the design agency. Ordering stock
• Sourcing best price promotional merchandise products


• Updating the website and adding new products
• Setting up and managing Social Media channels
• Design and send email campaigns to the client base


• Conference, Events and Tradeshows organisation: Sourcing venues, compiling attendance lists, sending invitations, preparing marketing collateral, attendance at events on behalf of the company, post event evaluation

Sales Support

• Producing management information reports for the Sales Director
• Updating and managing the CRM system
• Contacting clients by telephone/email to follow up on potential quotes
• Running sales projects to demonstrate and offer new products to customers
• Evaluating client feedback on products and service and aligning these to marketing strategy
• Market and competitor research
• Support with sales order input and queries
• Support to the Sales Director
