Partnerships Manager / £32,000 - £42,000 / Central London based

Ernest Hunter Green are proudly supporting a leading retail / hospitality business headquartered in Central London to hire a Partnerships Manager.

We are looking for somebody who can support the Digital Marketing Manager to manage the wide range of existing commercial partnerships to drive profitable revenue growth as well as identifying new partnerships in line with business objectives.

The role provides the right individual a unique opportunity to make their mark on a fast paced business where commercial partnerships are a key strategic driver for growth in 2017 and beyond.

You need to be commercially focused and confidently able to manage partnerships in order to drive growth. You’ll be used to building relationships with partners, understand how to develop profitable partner propositions and report back on success. Multi- site, retail commercial marketing experience would be preferred.

You will be a 'hands on’, organised person who is used to working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders up to board level, juggling multiple projects and delivering to tight timescales.

Key responsibilities:

Commercial and Brand Partnerships

  • Manage all current commercial partnerships including Tesco Club card and Voucher Affiliates in order to grow sales in line with business targets

  • Identify new commercial and brand partnerships in line with overall marketing objectives, agreeing commercial terms and managing any new launches

Gift Cards

  • Day to day management of the gift card and eGift programmes across direct, instore and mall channels

  • Identify new opportunities and launching across B2C and B2B channels

  • Working with buyagift to increase revenue through gift experiences

Commercial tracking and measurement

  • Managing the budget for partnership promotional activity including measuring ROI for fixed cost marketing activity
  • Tracking all commission costs, revenue and profitability to ensure that all partnership channels are driving profitable growth against business targets.
  • Working with IT team to ensure that all activity is fully tracked

Campaigns and Promotions

  • Ensure that all our partners are aligned with our marketing calendar and identify opportunities for promotion within their marketing calendars, ensuring that we get marketing placements in line with business objectives.
    • Manage a partner offer calender and an offer tracker up to date with all seasonal and ongoing promotional offers

    • Ensure all content across all partners is fully up to date and update with new content, photography offers and restaurant openings as needed

  • Manage periodic partner communications with the latest business updates.

Operational

  • Work with our operational, finance & IT teams to ensure that all partner offers can be correctly redeemed in restaurant and measured so that all sales are financially reconciled

  • Manage all internal briefings for partnership updates

  • Manage all operational queries with partners

  • Take ownership for ensuring all terms and conditions for partner offers are correct and up to date

What experience you’ll need:

Essential

  • A strong understanding, and experience of, applying commercial and financial principles to improve business performance

  • Excellent reporting skills and ability to demonstrate a return on investment

  • Experience of managing budgets

  • Experience of proactively identifying new business opportunities

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Experience of aligning marketing calendars and using partners to reach increase the reach of marketing campaigns
