JOB TITLE: ICT Teacher
LOCATION: Buckingham is located 10 miles northeast of Chelmsford and 15 miles west of Colchester
SALARY: £22,023 - £50,139 (MPS/UPS PLUS TLR1) for Permanent ICT Teacher Contracts. £130 - £180 per day for a Long-Term Supply Position *PLUS THE EDUCATION NETWORK BONUS AS OUTLINED BELOW*
KEY STAGES: Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time (Permanent)

The Education Network are delighted to be working in partnership with a mixed, 11-16 comprehensive school in Buckingham with an established reputation as a welcoming and forward-thinking learning community. In addition, our client school works closely alongside Buckingham Sixth Form, which provides opportunities for teachers to teach at Key Stage 5.
You will be working within a harmonious community where students support one another well. They are polite and courteous towards one another and to adults. Prefects are proud of their role and carry it out efficiently and support younger students in the academy.

THE ROLE - ICT TEACHER
We are looking to recruit a ICT Teacher who can provide enjoyable and enriching Mathematics lessons which can engage and motivate the 11-16 age range. You will be required to teach Mathematics in a creative, relevant and practical way through the use of whole class activities, group work and discussions, peer and self assessment, investigation work and extension work. As the newest ICT Teacher at our client school, you will be required to develop the numeracy skills of all students to prepare them for the working world and further studies.
The school offers an excellent induction for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTS) and would be able to support NQT ICT Techers through their induction year.

ICT TEACHER SPECIFICATION
You will need to be a ICT Teacher who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS and who is passionate about teaching ICT to Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students. Although our client school are seeking a ICT Teacher to commence from January 2016, an earlier start will be available for the right ICT Teacher. A commitment to raising standards and forming positive relationships with students is essential.
