Are you an Audit Manager with experience of, or a very strong interest in, the charity and not for profit sector? Would you like to work for a large, Top 10 practice, in a small yet rapidly growing charity and not for profit team that is winning new clients from larger competitors on a regular basis due to their continued hard work, high standard of staff and dedication to the charity sector? Do you want to work in a team with countless opportunities for you to develop your skills and knowledge of the charity sector, progress to senior manager in a short space of time and assist with managing the department and playing an important role in helping the department continue to grow? Managing your own portfolio of clients you will work on a variety of charities including school and academies, trade unions, membership organisations, livery companies and many more. Your role will be mainly audit and advisory based, and you will be responsible for reviewing work, managing teams and assist with the smooth running of the department. You will also carry out ad hoc assignments such as new business development, marketing and attending charity specific functions and events. You will also be responsible for tendering for new business and networking within the charity sector. Your role will be varied, hugely enjoyable and have a large advisory aspect to assist your clients grow and continue to be successful. In return you can expect high levels of responsibility and rapid progression.
To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA Audit Manager and at least 30% of your current client base must be charity and not for profit clients. You must be looking to expand on your experience and interests in this highly rewarding sector. This firm will also allow you to mix your portfolio to include working on commercial clients from other department, and your role could be split 80% charity clients and 20% commercial clients. You will currently be working for a good quality UK based practice firm, as an Audit Manager, with experience of the above duties. You will either be looking to continue your career in the charity and not for profit sector, or be looking to now specialise in this highly rewarding sector.
