A leading organisation in the business intelligence and global news space is currently recruiting for a Senior Marketing Executive for their commentary side of the business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering commentary marketing programmes the for the UK and Ireland legal industry portfolio of publications. Channels will include customer services, sales, trade, the sister global businesses and ecommerce and territories will cover both new and existing customers. You will deliver relevant, timely, media-neutral and targeted content for the organisation's print, e-book and online offerings.
-Creating and delivering content across the legal market place using both traditional and digital channels.
-Supporting the Marketing Programme Manager in planning and reporting on marketing strategy and tactical marketing planning.
-Ensuring team output is high quality and customer-centric.
-Leveraging data to ensure campaigns are targeted appropriately.
-Working closely with publishing to fully understand the publishing model and ensure effective cross communication between teams.
-Challenging the norm in the marketing programme - looking for ways to improve output.
-Working with data team to ensure data correct data selections and ensure optimum communication channels.
-Acting as a brand guardian to flagship titles and publications.
-Tailoring communications to the customer journey to ensure customer experience is optimised.
-Working closely with Content Marketing and Creative Services to deliver the best content and customer focussed messaging, and focusing on the importance of storytelling.
-Working as a key support to the demand generation team and using company CRM system to its full capacity.
-Analysing campaign performance and constantly looking for ways to adapt and improve.
-Supporting the events team to deliver the very best customer experience.
-Closely monitoring campaign spend against budget.
-You will possess a strong understanding of the customer journey with an excellent working knowledge of content marketing.
-Proven experience within print or subscription based marketing.
-Experience working with high volume campaigns.
-Strong proof-reading and copywriting skills.
-Cross-functional relationship management, team-working and influencing skills.
-Able to mentor less experienced team members.
-Strong organisational and project management skills.
-Results-driven with significant marketing experience across the full marketing mix.
-A good understanding of the legal market place.
-A great "storyteller", able to write clear, concise and persuasive prose!
-A problem-solver who drives innovation.
