The Assembler Role: This is an excellent opportunity for 3x Assemblers to join a rapidlyexpanding, and successful team. If you are self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast pacedenvironment, with proven experience of electronic assembly, then wewould love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities of the Assembler: - Perform general assembly on subassemblies utilising appropriateassembly procedures - Building mechanical assemblies using hand tools, placing PCBs ontotest bed of nails test jigs - Test subassemblies in electronic test fixtures - To hand solder components and wire leads into subassemblies/PCBs andcrop as required - Learn and perform basic troubleshooting protocols and rework fornon-conforming units - To insert components into Printed Circuit boards following writteninstruction and/or referring to a sample or diagram - To set up equipment needed to assemble the printed circuitassemblies. i.e. ladder racks and assembly frames - To carry out normal assembly tasks as required - Ability to be flexible and handle priority changes as they occur - Meet expected daily production requirements Skills & Experience Required: - Experience assembling electromechanical devices and subassemblies - High school diploma or equivalent trade school education - Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in the use of hand toolsincluding soldering equipment, screwdrivers, wrenches, and heat guns - Ideally IPC-A-610 certified - Thorough understanding of workmanship standards and quality controlprocedures including compliance for ESD - Experience operating in a lean manufacturing environment - Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office Suite - Ideally previous electronics experience, with good manual dexterity In return, the Assembler can expect a competitive salary, and goodbenefits package.
