Agile Project Manager, Kanban, Software, Travel, Web, Technology London up to £70k

My client is a Global player with the Travel & Accommodation industry. They provide accommodation, transfers, tours and activities from travel suppliers (e.g. hotels) and distribute these to online travel agents, tour operators and traditional travel agents. They are among the leaders in the travel market, operating globally and employing over 1,400 people.

With a vision to be the world's leading travel integrator, they have an ambition to continue to grow and develop the technology portfolio to achieve this great goal.
They require an AGILE Project Manager to join an Agile team of highly skilled professionals and will play a positive part in selecting the best solutions/technology for the project.

The Agile Project Manager will work as part of a highly collaborative, cross-functional, agile product development team to develop Plan and deliver the technology component of initiatives that change the business or improve its technology.

Key Accountabilities;
Foster a project management community which provides a consistent standards and skills across all Project Managers in technology within an Agile framework
Successfully oversees / manages multiple simultaneous initiatives and projects
Manages the delivery of complex projects, taking corrective action where required, to meet both stakeholder and team deadlines and budgets, and on quality criteria
Creates and executes quality project work plans (and revises as appropriate) to meet changing needs and requirements, driving it through its milestones and monitoring progress against costs, time, scope etc.
Is prepared and comfortable in conflict situations and is able to diffuse them effectively
Has high level of influence when communicating across a range of audiences
Accountable for setting and managing business stakeholder expectations
Create an inclusive environment that supports open-debate, teamwork and collaboration
Deliver through 3rd parties and / or vendors

Skills / Experience;
Extensive prior experience in an IT Project Management roles, including the successful delivery of large scale / complex global technology & business change projects (> EUR 1m) in an agile environment
Solid experience of working within an Agile environment
Solid experience in a people management
Experience managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver to agreed objectives
Experience of working with diverse business units including Technology, Product, Operations, Sales, Finance to deliver solutions
Experience working with and managing teams in outsourced, offshore / near-shore models

The salary on offer for this role is up to £70k depending on experience.
