My client are a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They have revenues in excess of £1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.

Job objectives & responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for any facilities related queries, including maintenance, cleaning and security related queries, on a high profile contract
  • Responsible for regularly updating the client face to face, on progress of tasks being carried out which have been reported by them and seeking their comments and feedback as and when appropriate
  • Working closely with various teams within the contract so as to ensure a collaborative and efficient approach and a swift response to all service requests. This will require continual communication with the FM Helpdesk and service managers/supervisors in addition to keeping the customer up to date at all times
  • Proactive 'visual maintenance' of communal floor areas, including hubs, staircases, coffee points and copy areas, engaging with the relevant FM teams as appropriate
  • To be flexible in approach to work patterns and systems to maintain the standards required
  • Fire warden duties
  • Assisting the Senior Workplace Coordinator with New Starter Inductions for staff and assisting with ensuring new starters are setup with right equipment and provisions like lockers, etc.
  • Raise service requests for users around the building where required and close in appropriate time to relevant SLA's
  • Complete routine building checks as scheduled
  • Complete floor walks and checks and raise any issues with the service desk
  • Management of meeting room spaces and support where required, supporting with booking of meeting rooms for users
  • Stocking of stationery cupboards and first aid supplies, ensuring all are stocked to correct level
  • Report any building issues and see through the rectification of these requests and closure of requests

Person specification

  • Ideally you will have previous experience in Customer Service and FM service delivery, helpdesk processes, workflows with knowledge of HR and QHS&E procedures and legislation
  • Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both written and verbally
