Mortgage Collections Advisor

Purpose of Role

Large financial service cdomapny are seeking an experience Collections Advisor to join the team. They aim to provide their customers with a friendly yet firm management of their accounts, treating them in a fair and professional manner. Working as part of a supportive team, you will deal with calls from customers who are often experiencing financial difficulties in stressful and often emotional situations. You will have a great opportunity to make a difference through your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently deliver an excellent level of customer service.
  • Provide support & guidance (but not advice) to customers who are experiencing financial difficulties.
  • Ensure that all regulatory and legislative guidelines are adhered to.
  • Take ownership of queries and complaints.
  • Manage arrears collections to meet set targets.
  • Look for ways to improve procedures and make recommendations to implement them.


  • The applicant would have experience collecting in a regulated mortgage environment or similar.
  • The applicant must be organised, able to manage their workload and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel).
