This is a senior, technical role for someone who gets a kick out of crunching numbers, chasing targets and increasing yields for our clients. You will have to be highly proficient at negotiating the various booking platforms vital to securing occupancy for our clients, but where you thrive is developing dynamic pricing strategies, combining short-term reactive pricing with the implementation of long-term programmes, using historical and market data. You will maximise occupancy levels by reviewing and revising revenue strategies on an ongoing basis working to monthly, quarterly and annual targets. We want to keep you focused on the numbers and the clients, rather than the day-to-day operations noise, so as the company continues to grow, you will assist in the recruitment, management, training and developing of a revenue operations assistant.Key responsibilities: - Using management software to coordinate bookings and sync calendars- Becoming a pricing expert and updating prices daily as well as creating long-term strategies based on YoY figures and market data- Researching new channels and building corporate partnerships- Maintaining good relationships with the existing business partners- Coordinating the creation, management and updating of property listings across all of our channels- Delegating the composition of well-written and inspiring content for all listings- Making judgements about appropriate types of lettings specific to properties, as well as pushing last minute bookings- Making benchmark analysis on the London market- Preparing statistics and reports- Managing a revenue operations assistant - University Degree or equivalent- Computer literate – Microsoft Office, Excel- Prior experience in reservations & revenue management is essential- Previous experience in short-term lettings is desirable but not essential- Knowledge of channel managers and PMS such as Kigo/Guesty etc- Knowledge of booking platforms such as Airbnb/ Advisor/HomeAway/Wimdu/The Plum Guide etc.- Excellent communication skills- People management skills- Strong attention to detail- Strong work ethic- Well-presented- An open mind and a willingness to be honest & collaborative
