Lloyd Recruitment Services is working with a leading Events and Media company based in East Grinstead. Due to continued expansion our client is looking to hire a Marketing and PR Assistant to join the marketing team.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, your role will be focused in rolling out the exhibition marketing strategy, working cross functionally on activities in close collaboration with the Data, Operations and Production team members.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a challenge and is go-getting. This is a very hands-on role which would suit someone looking to develop their successful career in marketing and events.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day delivery of marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Updating marketing schedules
  • Social media monitoring
  • Updating copy on event websites
  • Building email communications (using the email communication platform)
  • Speaking to exhibitors and speakers on the telephone
  • Distributing press releases
  • The ideal candidates will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in marketing and events)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong telephone etiquette and enjoys engaging with customers
  • Be a strong multi-tasker
  • Excellence copywriting skills
  • This role will require some travel across the UK and overnight stays during the events (up-to four times a year).

    Salary up to £25,000 DOE
