My client is an international multi-site production and processing organisation with a turnover of approx. £100m. They are a leader within their respective industry, and aim to continue this impressive growth over the next 5 years. There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their Invergordon site. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role would suit an individual who has completed a full Electrical Engineering apprenticeship and has a minimum of 1 years’ time served experience. The responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following: · Utilise both electrical and mechanical engineering skills / knowledge to maintain and enhance the performance of plant and equipment. · Provide first class, flexible support to production requirements and factory services at all times · Train and develop production staff to deliver their first line maintenance objectives · Identify and develop improvement opportunities · Follow established Health & Safety procedures at all times To be applicable for this opportunity you must possess the following: · Time served apprenticeship or equivalent · Recognised engineering qualifications: C&G, SVQ3, HNC Engineering · Knowledge of 17th Edition · Advanced understanding of PLC & computer programming and data acquisition · Previous maintenance experience – manufacturing environment preferable · Competent electrical / mechanical fault finding and analysis skills · Self-managing - Must be able to work under own supervision or as part of a team · Flexible working attitude · Sound communication · Ability to work alongside people with diverse skills and understanding · Methodical record keeping is essential The shift pattern will consist of Days and Nights. Shifts will be 12hrs. Remuneration : Competitive Salary with additional benefits. Overtime will be paid at 1.5 or double time depending on shift
