Title: Merchandising Assistant - Harveys

Reports to: Merchandising Manager - Harveys

Based at: Head Office (Dartford)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00hrs to 17:00hrs (37.5hrs p/w)

Job Purpose:

To support the Merchandising team in the completion of all tasks relating to the running of the department.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    Effectively deal with all store e-mails / telephone calls relating to product, pricing, ranging and system issuesTo maintain lifecycle SKU status within the Navision and Alpha systemsAccurately maintain availability of stock codes on Navision and NetposCheck that all printed tickets contain accurate informationEnsure Internet and store till pricing is accurately maintained at all timesMaintain all filing systems and accurate records as needed e.g. Pricing, Orders, Allocations Grading
Grading / Range Planning

    Implementing changes to the store and system grading documents as directed.Raise and maintain orders for store display stock, store openings and refurbishmentsTo support the Assistant Merchandiser in the production of the analytical information required to assist with product ranging and pricing decisions

    Support the Assistant Merchandiser in the contribution to and validation of each events PIP (Promotion Installation Pack) ensuring the communication of all pricing and ticketing information is accurate

    Engage all external and internal customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner ensuring that they are left with a lasting positive impression of the departmentEnsure that any internal/external customers queries or concerns are dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner, following the relevant company guidelinesSupport an environment and culture within Harveys where the Customer is firmly at the centre of everything that we do.
