Austin Fraser is proud to be supporting one of the most exciting Biopharmaceutical companies in the world who is looking to hire a highly experienced and talented QA Operations Manager to join their team in Berkshire.

The site had its best year ever last year and is performing to an upward trend as they take on more new, complex, and innovative development projects for both clinical and commercial sectors. Although a Global brand with 1000's of employees worldwide, the Berkshire site has a family feel and Quality in the business is highly regarded, as the 70+ strong group within Quality look to continually improve from both personal and business performance perspectives.

The QA Operations Manager will lead a team of around 30 staff working on the assessment of batch records as well as the audit of assay documentation generated in Quality Control, Analytical Services and Product Development areas.

It will be your responsibility to lead, manage and develop the QA Operations team along with 3 direct reports acting as Team Leads. Assuring team objectives and responsibilities are met, and planning workload across the team and supporting site objectives. You will Manage and escalate major and critical compliance issues through the site PQS process. Actively develop, mentor, train and instil a site GMP culture. Identify opportunities for GMP compliance training and awareness campaigns, and support QA Leadership with department strategy development, objectives and goal setting.

To be successful in this position you must have demonstrable experience in managing and developing a Quality department of at least 10+ staff. Strong pharmaceutical or biotech background. Excellent knowledge of GMP regulations and guidelines, and experience in identifying improvements and leading change.
