This nursing home provides a range of care for the elderly, some of whom are living with physical disability. Palliative, respite, and convalescent care is also provided. Resident`s hobbies and interests are taken well into consideration when days out and activities are planned. The home also has a skilled, trained chef who prepares nutritious meals for the residents, and at the same time meets any dietary requirements.

The company who own this home are a large, well-renowned care company that is dedicated to providing highest standards of care across its wide variety of services. The company provides excellent career progression and staff benefits.

As Home Manager, your key responsibilities will centre on management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies.

Please note, although this role is to take leadership of a nursing home, a nursing qualification is not essential.

Main Duties as Home Manager:
• To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld throughout the home
• To maintain occupancy levels within the service
• To assist with the recruitment for the home
• To support service users in order to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• NMC PIN desirable, although not essential
• Proven management experience in a similar care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards

In return, my client is offering a salary in the region of £55K and an excellent benefits package.
