Apprenticeship Manager (Assessor, Education, Training)
Our client is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.
In addition to over 900 students progressing to university from the College, 200 students choose to study a Higher-Level course available at their University Centre each year.
Joining them as Apprenticeship Manager, you will manage, design, deliver and monitor apprenticeship programmes to maximise students’ potential, improve timely achievement and success through effective course team leadership.
Working with the Director of Apprenticeships and other College managers to develop the provision, you will lead and develop a portfolio of Apprenticeship standards and ensure their success against key performance indicators.
In addition, you will also be responsible for building, leading and developing teams of staff delivering and supporting apprenticeships within the curriculum area.
In order to be successful in this role, you will hold a Degree or equivalent level qualification coupled with a nationally recognised Assessor award.A nationally recognised Verifier award (or a willingness to work towards this) is also essential and you should hold a Management Certificate/Diploma (or be willing to work towards this).Although not essential, a full teaching qualification would be beneficial.
With experience of team leadership and staff management, relevant experience of responsibilities involved with managing Apprenticeship provision is important along with knowledge of the local, regional and national apprenticeship agendas.Closing date: 7th December 2017Interview date: 14th December 2017
