Parts & Technical Support Administrator

About us:

PSV Glass & Glazing Ltd is an established market leader in its field within the Bus, Coach and Rail industries. Following an increase in business, a new and exciting position has arisen within our Technical Department.

Our Technical Department provides the full parts technical support for the PSVG business and our diverse range of customers. Our principal areas of operation are to provide and maintain ‘in house’ search engine based systems, together with creation of new part numbers, leading to drawings, vehicle schematics and to build catalogues based on individual customer’s fleets.




The role will be based at our Headquarters in High Wycombe.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Parts & Technical Support Administrator, you will report directly to the Technical Supervisor, and will form part of a four-man team. The duties of this role include but are not limited to:

·Adding information to our parts identification system using bespoke software.

·Helping customer facing staff to identify parts for individual enquiries. Helping to identify


·Measuring and drawing new parts and adding information to the system.

·Working with vehicle builder’s data, updating any related vehicle information

·Day to day responsibility for liaising with external contacts to ensure all records are maintained

·To manage specific customer fleet lists, linking our own schematics and ensuring all vehicle movements are recorded and updated

·Dealing with problems from both customers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.

Essential Criteria

·Excellent interpersonal skills

·Be highly numerate

·Excellent attention to detail

·Possess excellent computer and administration skills with knowledge of database management
