Service Manager - Wigan
An exceptional new opportunity has arisen with a national care provider that specialise in supported living and residential care for adults with learning disabilities. This fantastic, specialist company are looking for a competent, experienced Service Manager to join their North West team to manage their flagship service.This role will involve managing a small number of supported living set ups for individuals with complex autism and very challenging behaviours. They pride themselves on providing a high quality service and the successful candidate must be extremely quality orientated.Key responsibilities: • Support the area manager ensuring the high quality management of services at all times that are specific to the needs and requirements of the service users. • Ensure the training and supervision of staff is carried out to the highest quality. • Recruitment of staff within the services • Bed management/referral, assessing suitability • Attending disciplinary hearingsThe ideal candidate will: • Have had extensive leadership and management experience. • Ideally have a proven track record in managing multi-site services. • Ideally have a QCF qualification at level 5 qualification in management.
