Teaching Assistant required for a reception class working as one to one support for a boy with Autism
Your new company
You will be working for a primary school based in North Liverpool. This 1 form primary school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their early years team and work closely with a boy in a reception class who has Autism.
Your new role
You will be working closely with a child who suffers with pathological demand avoidance, a form of Autism. This child needs support with his behaviour and has attachment issues. The child is based in a reception class. This role is for 5 full days a week and has the potential to become a permanent role.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in an early years setting.
- Experience working with Autism
- Nurturing personality
- Qualification in Childcare or Support Teaching is desired but not essential
- Relevant references in the last 2 years.
Most importantly you will be passionate about working with children in an early years setting.
