RESIDENTIAL HOME MANAGER – COLCHESTER, ESSEX£45,000-£50,000 PER ANNUMWhite Knight Recruitment are working with a large national not-for-profit care provider of retirement properties and residential care homes. They are looking to recruit a Residential Home Manager for their 50 bedded home in Colchester that offers residential care to the elderly.The Service - A beautiful purpose-built care home providing excellent, quality care and facilities within a comfortable, homely and relaxing environment. En-suite rooms are available for up to 50 residents, including a 29 bedroom dementia care wing. We have a long history of caring for older people and we put our residents at the heart of everything we do. This home is the result of this approach, carefully conceived with all our experience and passion, to meet the needs and expectations of the next generation of older people. Our dedicated service, combined with the homes luxurious environment and facilities, allow our residents to live a full, rich and meaningful life in the company of supportive, like-minded people. The Role – As the Residential Home Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.Our residents and their families expect great services, so you will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. You will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents’ care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.As you will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.You will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You will hold, or be prepared to attain, relevant regulatory registered manager status and ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.Experience Required –
•Possess strong commercial acumen
•Have excellent communications skills
•Demonstrate excellent leadership
•Have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality care
•Hold a “good” or “outstanding” CQC report
