CARE HOME MANAGER (NURSING) – BOURNE, LINCOLNSHIRE£55,000-£60,000 PER ANNUM PLUS BONUSWhite Knight Recruitment are working with a leading national healthcare provider of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. They are looking to recruit a Home Manager for their nursing home in Bourne that offers residential, nursing and dementia care for 60 residents.The Service - Welcome to our warm and friendly home. Here we offer high quality 24-hour nursing care alongside expert care for people living with dementia in our dedicated Memory Lane Community.Our purpose-built home is located on the River Glen in the historic town of Bourne. Our approach to care is based on person-centred care planning and our belief in independence, dignity and choice. We also pride ourselves on our hospitality - elegant and comfortable surroundings and good food and drink.Our Memory Lane Community is specifically designed for people living with dementia and has been furnished with memorabilia from the 40s, which provides a spur to reminiscence. We even have a reconstruction of a steam railway platform from Bourne Station!The Role – As Care Home General Manager you will be a role model in everything you do and represent the home professionally with a wide range of stakeholders and external contacts. You will utilise your strong creative and marketing skills to proactively promote the home in the local community, ensuring the high reputation of the home is communicated to potential residents and referrers.Our residents and their families expect great services, so you will be expected to provide hands-on support and strong leadership to a team who care passionately about the residents in their care. You will do this by inspiring a culture of continuous improvement and robust two-way communication to ensure that residents’ care and social needs are met in a person-centred way.As you will be expected to develop the home with a strong, existing team, you must be confident in presenting your vision and creative ideas for the home and support the team to build on the excellent work already done at the home.You will engage with Divisional and Regional initiatives to support growth of the business and lead your team to achieve maximum performance against commercial and financial goals. You will hold, or be prepared to attain, relevant regulatory registered manager status and ensure the home meets all regulatory and statutory requirements including health and safety and COSHH, in compliance with the appropriate Acts.Experience Required –
•Hold a Registered Nurse qualification with an active NMC pin number
•Possess strong commercial acumen
•Have excellent communications skills
•Demonstrate excellent leadership
•Have a proven track record in the delivery of high quality care
•Hold a “good” or “outstanding” CQC report
