Counter Fraud Claims Handler
I am currently recruiting for a leading insurance organisation that prides itself on their trustworthiness and honesty within the insurance industry. They take fraudulent claims very seriously and are now looking to recruit a talented Counter Fraud Claims Handler to join their growing team.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of first party contentious suspicious cases within a designated limit of authority, from their identification to their resolution.
You will work with internal intelligence teams, regional colleagues and selected partners to investigate claims and take the appropriate course of action to defend them. It also means working closely with internal and external bodies - from the underwriting department and claims team, to the insurance fraud bureau and the police - taking every measure possible to counter the threats presented.
You will have previously handled first party claims and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of investigating and defeating suspicious claims, preferably having progressed investigations to criminal and civil prosecutions.
You must have GCSE's graded C or above including Math's and English or equivalent.
