TTM are working closely with a national Elderly Care Home group to recruit high calibre nurses for their homes across the Northern Ireland including this lovely home in Newtownabbey.

The home is a purpose built nursing home for older people. They support people with physical needs who require assistance and care. The homely and comfortable environment, finished to a high standard, enables the home to provide person centred care tailored to the needs of residents. The dedicated and trained team provide a high standard of care to enhance resident’s quality of life.

You will be confident enough to make autonomous decisions, while collaborative enough to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will ideally have good previous nursing experience in older peoples care homes and demonstrate true commitment both to your own personal development and to the development of the wider team.

Your caring and professional approach is a given, as is your strong work ethic, reliability and ability to build solid working relationships. The qualities and skills that you should possess to succeed are:

RMN Qualified & NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) Registered
Previous older peoples care experience is desirable but not essential
Caring & compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
Excellent organisation & leadership skills
Effective communication skills
Flexible, professional and committed to being the best
Quality driven with a desire to continually improve yourself & our services
