Management Information Systems Administrator (HE)

£15,410 - £17,667 per annum

Blackburn College provides higher education to more than 3,000 students within a dedicated University Centre, making the College one of the largest and longest established providers of higher education in further education in the UK.

The Role

You will report to the MIS Team Leader to support the entry of a wide range of centrally collected data using the college's student record system, although mainly carrying out data entry and checking, the post holder will be required to carry out some data preparation, analysis and decision making. Work will include ensuring learner files contain the required paperwork, data quality checks, maintaining and updating unique learner numbers

What we are looking for

With a good standard of general education to at least NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent you will have experience of working in a clerical/administrative environment. Experience of working with Higher Education (HE) data sets is desirable.
