Service Desk Analyst - Global Company/1st Line support/Contract

Our Client, a FTSE100 company based in Teesdale is currently looking for a Service desk Analyst to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis. The purpose of this role is providing a single point of contact/level 1 support for the Teesdale location.

The role would be responsible for ensuring disciplined, systematic and empathetic approach is delivered for incident and service requests resolution. The main responsibilities:

  • Actively identifying, assessing, recording, resolving or escalating incidents and service requests ensuring they are handled within an agreed time limit, within agreed processes and in a professional and customer sensitive manner.
  • Providing support and advice on IT related issues, ensuring the best use of IT systems
  • Offering advice to end users on all areas of IT and troubleshooting issues. Providing high quality service

The ideal candidate would be proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Office and Outlook, ideally but not essential someone with ITL foundation Level and some knowledge of German. In addition to excellent communication and customer service skills able to build relationships and work on own initiative

The salary for this role is £17.50/hour
