Based in the heart of London, our client is a leading E-Commerce business (Non-fashion), with a vast product range reaching out to an ever expanding customer base, they're constantly coming up with new ways to satisfy their customers. With an E-Commerce business that is increasing year on year, they are seeking an Online Trading Merchandiser to be the authority on trading performance allowing you to provide actionable insight to the wider business. You will play a pivotal role in the successful planning and execution of peak seasons.

Key responsibilities of this Online Trading Merchandiser role will include:

This is a multi-faceted role which requires excellent analytical and communication skills, along with a sound commercial awareness. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for spotting trends, coupled with exceptional attention to detail. You will develop a clear understanding of the business goals and work with Commercial team to inform their decision making in range planning, content development and forecasting.

You will own and develop the Trading Plan, which is at the core of the business, informing Marketing and Creative teams of the commercial direction for all campaigns. You will play a key part in shaping Campaign briefs, by providing Lessons learnt and insights to previous performance. Working with the Merchandising and Category teams, you will make sure New Product Launches are planned and that teams are aligned.

Monitoring brand performance and KPIs, you will be best placed to communicate performance in the weekly Trading meeting to wider business. By identifying opportunities of risk, you will react accordingly and influence key stakeholders to minimise this risk. Weekly forecasting of sales.

Manage ad hoc data insight requests into sales, KPI and category performance and onsite performance using internal data and Google Analytics.

Key skills and experiences required for this Online Trading Merchandiser role:

High degree of numeracy and good numerical interpretation.

Competent Excel user with the ability to manipulate and summarise large amounts of data.

Proactive with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.

Excellent communications skills - both verbal and written.

Google Analytics experience would be advantageous.
