You will join an existing team in a business with a real family feel, Full training will be provided but candidates must be willing and ready to learn.
Raising purchase orders.
Manage the supply chain to ensure stock availability through timely deliveries.
Ensure repeat orders are placed to maintain stock availability through timely deliveries.
Defer PO's where practical to maximise cash-flow.
Maintain accurate Purchase Order delivery dates and update comments from suppliers.
Produce daily, weekly or monthly reports for TF's, Lost Sales, Non-starters and Stock.
Ensure all TF's held are within policy and cleared at earliest opportunity.
Ensure items are flagged correctly on the system.
Provide information for review with Buyers as necessary.
Other reasonable tasks as required by the business.
To identify and report risks
Provide accurate information in accordance with the relevant deadlines
Manage stock levels to maximise cash flow and maintain service levels
Keep systems and documentation updated with accurate information
Prevent lost sales and TFs where possible
Able to work under pressure and prioritise work-loads
A Pro-active outlook with the ability to identify potential risks to the business
Capability to adapt to change
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
