Salary: £28 - £32K per annum + Benefits (Dependent upon experience)

A well-established Leicester based NSI GOLD accredited security system installation company with over 30 years’ experience, who provide installations and services to many prestigious companies across the UK, is an experienced, knowledgeable Senior Support Engineer to join its expanding team and portfolio. You will have at least 5 years industry knowledge and experience, as well as having excellent Installation, maintenance, commissioning knowledge and a proven history of managing a team of engineers. This is a hands-on field based role.

This position would ideally suit an all-encompassing Security Systems Engineer who has a wealth of experience and knowledge who is looking for career progression and has the ability to Manage staff and projects.

As a Senior Support Engineer your job role will include:

·Starting, finishing and testing of supplied systems

·Overseeing the maintaining and servicing Intruder, Access, CCTV and Fire systems

·Responding to client faults and diagnosing

·Project Manage jobs/sites as delegated by the Engineer Manager

·Being able to Audit engineers in accordance to British standard requirements

·Overseeing the installation and commissioning of complete systems across client’s sites

·Ensuring that an installation is achieved according to the site plans and paperwork is completed or record revisions

·Overseeing the programming of IP systems and setting up with the installed equipment

·Provide onsite specific training to the engineers as and when required

·Providing support to the Engineer Manager in all associated tasks

To be a successful Senior Support Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:

·Experience in the following: CCTV, Security Systems, Fire systems Access control, LAN's, WAN's

·Previously from a service and installation background

·Experience and knowledge of CAT5 cables

·Due to this role being a field based role, you must have a full UK driving licence

·A professional, calm and customer focused attitude

·The ability to complete relevant paperwork

·A varied knowledge on CCTV, IP, Access, Intruder and Fire systems

·The ability to command a team of engineers

·Overseeing of scheduling of works

·The ability to assess and plan required training of staff

·Experience in delivering on site training as well as toolbox talks

·Be confident on the ability to conduct engineer audits

·Some Health & Safety experience preferably IOSH certified

Job Package:

This position is required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, but will work to the needs of the business

In return, the Senior Support Engineer will receive; a salary of £28-£32k per annum
