Maintenance Engineer Nottingham12 Hour Shifts – Days Only (4 on/ 4 off shift pattern)
First class opportunity to join major manufacturing facility based near Nottingham, who supply into major blue chip retailers. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to drive forward continuous improvements and develop and upgrade existing machinery. Key Responsibilities:
Responding to and resolving breakdowns throughout a busy high volume manufacturing siteSupporting the preventative maintenance programmeMaximising efficiency and minimising machine downtimeEnsuring engineering tasks are completed by adherence to H&S and environmental regulations and industry best practice Conducting maintenance checks, completing quality audits and paperworkDiagnosing faults on a broad range of PLC control systems and modificationsPursuing continuous improvement projectsExperience:
Time Served Apprenticeship Proven work experience within a high volume manufacturing facility is preferredKnowledge of PLC programming and Electrical Wiring Regulations would be an advantageExperience of working with automated machinery would be helpful along with hydraulics and pneumatics knowledgeIf you would like to discuss the role in more detail please call 0115 986 2416
