We are pleased to bring you this opportunity with a very well respected optical brand. They are looking to add a full time optometrist to their team on a permanent basis

Optometrist Position

This practice is a part of the most trusted optical groups with a fantastic and long established brand. This practice is ideally situated in a busy Essex location within easy commute of East London. You will be serving a long standing and loyal customer base as the opticians of choice in the area. This company are committed to customer service for their patients and to development for their staff.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

Your role will be to work as a resident optometrist within a busy practice. You will work to 25 minute test slots with some contact lens appointments throughout the day as well. In total you will be seeing 15 – 17 patients per day. You will be well supported by a long standing and professional team and you will be working within a modern test room

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified Optometrist who is registered with the GOC / PCT and up to date with all CET requirements. The ideal person for this position will have some post qualification experience within a busy practice ideally. You will be hard working and enthusiastic with a strong team mentality. They need a positive person with an excellent chair side manner and strong customer service skills. . You will be happy coming out of the test room to help in other areas of the practice as required.

Compensation for the Optometrist

On offer to the right person is a competitive salary package £38,000 – £45,000 + GOC Fees + 33 days of annual leave and a long term opportunity with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
