Our mission is to deliver exceptional experiences for the patients treated in hospitals throughout the UK – and to do that, we need exceptional people.BMI Healthcare’s Princess Maragaret Hospital in Windsor has a vacancy for a Healthcare Assistant to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department.This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.Applicants should meet the following criteria:Must Have Healthcare Assistant ExperienceEducated to GCSE level or equivalent (desirable).NVQ Level II (desirable).Communication skills.Basic C.P.R.Ability to work shifts, including weekendsDuties of this role include: To support registered nurses in caring for patients, in the provision of high quality careUnder the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse, carry out clinical procedures appropriate to level of skills, knowledge and trainingSupport the Consultant in carrying out treatments, acting as a chaperone when requiredWork with other teams based in Out PatientsCarry out the required clinical stock taking, record keeping and other audit type activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse.Communicate with patients, their relatives and friends, being aware of their need to discuss their problems.
