Social Inclusion Cafe Worker
Creative Support is a non-profit provider of personalised care and support for people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions, and older people.
You will work alongside our Project Manager, Unit Business Manager and Graduate Development Officer to provide an outcome-focused and person centred social inclusion centre. The service will also operate as a fully functioning café on occasion during the week so previous catering experience is essential. You will be liaising with other providers and professionals on a regular basis to both promote and develop the service. There will be an expectation of flexible approach to working with service to operate over 5 out of 7 days a week throughout the year to meet the needs of our clients. This may include bank holidays, Christmas or New Year.
You will manage and organise relevant activities of interest within the service, some already established and fresh ideas encouraged. You will be expected to work both in one to one and group sessions with clients. Have some understanding of risk managements and basic financial skills.
Experience is desirable, as is a relevant professional qualification. The position is open to graduates, experienced practitioners, and people looking to start their career in social care.

Creative Support has obtained Investors in People Silver status and you will receive ongoing training regarding the service user group you work with and training regarding changes to the law governing social care.
