Role: Experienced Paraplanners (multiple vacancies) Location: Glasgow Central Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + benefits The firm: My client is a national firm with over 200 IFAs located throughout the UK. With offices based in some of the UKs major cities, they are synonymous for running a face-to-face operation with a bespoke offering, which has allowed them to grow a portfolio of very loyal clients. As a result of continued growth, the company wants to centralise activities ensuring that teams of IFA’s and Paraplanners have immediate access to each other, ultimately allowing them to work together in a more cohesive fashion. You will be based from their Glasgow central offices, a few minutes’ walk from the train station – perfect for commuters! This role is to start in January 2018 with interviews commencing on the 6th and 7th December 2017. If you are looking for a brand new role and a fresh start in the New Year, then read on… The role: This is very much a traditional paraplanning role, however with an emphasis on: preparing and maintaining client files; preparing recommendations; implementing recommendations and reviewing client files; All in accordance of course with the compliance and regulatory framework of the firm. The candidate: You will have a bright and naturally positive demeanour with excellent senior stakeholder engagement and relationship skills as well as a keen eye for detail. My client has also placed serious emphasis on experience over qualification. You do NOT have to be fully or partially diploma qualified, (although that is advantageous). What you WILL have, is solid and demonstrable experience of having worked as a paraplanner or within a paraplanning capacity.
