A thriving primary school in Corby are seeking a creative, committed and inspirational KS1 teacher to join their team. The role is to start in January, and will continue for the rest of the academic year. For the right teacher, the position could become permanent.
About the role:
You will be teaching a KS1 class. There are varying SEN needs in the class, including one child with ASD, however all of the children are independent and there are no significant behavioural needs in the class. There will be a TA present, as well as a full time class volunteer.

Staff satisfaction is very high, and staff view teaching at the school as a vocation rather than just a job. The school prides itself on a very creative curriculum, promoting both indoor and outdoor learning, and children have cooking lessons, art lessons and PE lessons given by specialist teachers as a part of their weekly timetable. During this time, class teachers are relieved for PPA. The school hosts excellent facilities, including a large staff room and kitchen.
In order to be considered for the position, it is essential that you are eligible to work in the UK, have QTS and possess an excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. You must be able to commit to 2 terms, as well as weekly staff training sessions. You must be flexible and adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team. You will also be expected to do all marking and planning, as well as using assessment and providing feedback.
