Sales Engineer – Compressors

West Yorkshire

£30k - £40k Basic + Bonus + Car + Bens

Our client is the leading distributor of air compressors, air tools and pneumatic products to a wide range of industries. As the global leader in the industry with turnover exceeding £50m our client is now looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join their busy team in West Yorkshire.

The Role

•Secure and grow revenue within a select group of strategic accounts covering both existing and new customers

•Develop and implement account management plans to secure existing sites.

•Communicate at all levels, senior level within these prestigious accounts to ensure we maximise our potential.

•Combining robust long-term planning (large projects) with measurable short term gains (KPI’s and smaller projects).

The Candidate

•Ability to travel within own territory, often to remote industrial locations, at short notice.

•Listens and responds to customer needs - Establishes and grows effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect through mutual unfiltered feedback.

•Experience within Compressors is essential, either in a sales or engineering capacity.

•Deals with complex concepts comfortably; is knowledgeable and willing to learn.

•Technical qualification desirable but not essential.
