They currently seek a Social Media Executive implement the Social Media strategy and support Digital Search strategy to assist marketing and sales departments in all key markets.

The role involves developing and implementing the group social media strategy. This will include supporting lo local subsidiaries with the blogger outreach programme, implementing social media crisis management plans, administering and optimising the You Tube channel and looking at analytics and monitoring and offering training and support to global markets. It is necessary to have previous social media marketing experience at a strategic level ideally for a brand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Trial and manage Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and other upcoming social platforms before rolling out to local markets
  • Test and validate paid social campaigns across different channels
  • Develop and administer Social Media Listening, Analytics and monitoring
  • Implement blogger outreach campaigns by supporting the Group Digital Search & Social Manager to increase online brands' visibility & search presence and drive natural links acquisition by supporting local markets
  • Be the social media expert to support the brands across relevant social platforms
  • Prepare and implement social guidelines and templates to help the local markets operate more effectively
  • Manage Group's You Tube channels to be consumer friendly and increase platform visibility
  • Work with and manage agency relations for creation of content and related tasks
  • Work with the Group Digital Search & Social Manager and external teams to develop a coherent and planned social media & search strategy and training programme
  • Assure consistent implementation of brand guidelines across all social channels

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of extensive social media experience to include blogging; working in a similar role (ideally for an global B2C brand/organisation)
  • Excellent knowledge of social media, social media analytics and usage of social media tools such as Ubermetrics
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing
  • Combination of a strategic approach with a hands-on-mentality
  • An excellent command of the English language with a thorough understanding of language structure, grammar and tone of voice
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with members of staff remotely
  • BA or BS degree in Digital Marketing or equivalent qualification or combination of education and experience - desirable
  • Professional qualification in Social Media marketing - desirable
  • Excellent understanding and experience of CMS systems, HTML and CSS - desirable
