£33,345 - £37,000 + OTT £44,000 + Van + Pension + Benefits + Training



Field Service Engineer required for a world market leader in construction machinery who offer a competitive salary and training opportunities.



The successful candidate will ideally transfer from a heavy plant background and have experience of servicing and repairs to machinery within an industrial/construction setting. A good working knowledge of hydraulics, mechanic, electrics and fault diagnosis are essential for this position. Ex-forces candidates are also encouraged to apply. Full product training will be provided for the right engineer. Previous experience in a field service role will be advantageous.



The role will be servicing the M4 and M5 corridor area and will involve following a service route, travelling to customer site to diagnose faults, repair and test equipment. The role will involve working to strict health and safety guidelines and due to the client facing nature of the role, a high level of professionalism will be expected. You will need to report into the depot to collect parts on average 1 time per week and you must be able to accurately complete written reports on work carried out on site and have previous experience of laptop diagnostic equipment.

The Role:



* Fault finding, diagnosis and repair to heavy plant machinery

* Servicing of heavy plant machinery

* Liaise closely with the service department to provide job reports

* Reporting into the office to collect spares once a week

* Servicing the M4 M5 corridor working predominately Bristol/ Gloucester area



The Person:



* Will ideally transfer from a heavy plant background

* Will ideally want to boost potential earnings with overtime opportunities

* Must hold a full clean UK driving license

* Must be flexible in their approach to travel with the occasional stay away

* Must live within a commutable distance to Bristol/ Gloucester
