We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Engineer to join a pioneering data services, hosting, and storage market-leader based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The successful Support Engineer will join a small team responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues on customer environments, whilst ensuring the customers receive a first-class service.
As the Support Engineer, you will be monitoring network and core infrastructure on a 24-hour basis, fixing any issues that arise, answering telephone calls and working on all tickets raised by customers within set SLAs. The Support Engineer will also work with other internal business units to resolve technical issues, escalating tasks to the relevant departments and advising the Team Leader of long-running problems.
Required skills for the Support Engineer:
- Experience working with Windows and Exchange Servers.
- Experience working with Linux Server (Apache).
- Understanding of virtualisation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Experience with Hyper-V and MSSQL is desirable.
