Telecoms Installation Operations Manager - Reading/London - £40-45k Basic with Bonuses

We are recruiting on behalf of a Telecoms provider a Telecoms Installation Operations Manager. We are looking for someone who is experienced in running field managers and installation teams across London and the Surrounding areas.

You will need to have previous experience of managing a large cabling/dat installation team and a track record of delivering lots of small projects on time and budget. You will be expected to know the challenges of leading a large team of field managers and installation engineers which will enable you to articulate a strategy for ensuring that as our clients rate of installations grow, their enviable record for quality continues to improve

Responsibilities and duties will include:

Part of the Senior Management team of the Field Operations division
Leadership of the installation teams which includes our dedicated Field Team Managers
Line Management of the Operational Support Team
Providing a forecast for installation volumes by city and leading the process to ensure we have the available resources to cope with demand
Responsible for delivery against the company KPI's
Implementing a process of continuous improvement across the installation team and associated support functions
Responsible for the end to end process for how we deal with customer care related issues
Ensuring a suite of approved contractors are available to conduct repair work according to customer set SLA's and that their work is quality checked and verified.

Person specification:

Previous experience in a management position of a cabling/data installation team is essential
Past record of delivering excellence and on time delivery
Determination and commitment to delivery
Excellent people management skills
Energetic, logical with an eye for detail
