About the Job

We are now looking for a creative Content Writer to join us. We are a marketing-led business and our talented marketing team are recognised as integral to BrightHR’s success.

This is an exciting opportunity where you will be writing content across a variety of channels that draws people in and engages them, ensuring BrightHR is positioned as people management software of choice.

Reporting into the Group Content Manager, you will be responsible for writing content that resonates with SME business owners. You will make technical subjects easy to understand, engaging and relevant to our target market. Your writing will play a key role in campaign work.
You’ll take ownership of the company’s content marketing strategy – from planning through to content implementation and measurement – ensuring all internal and external content requirements are met.

Your Impact
  • Create engaging copy that speaks immediately to a market saturated with messages, ensuring that it is relevant and current
  • Collaborate with the team to develop content that educates and inspires our target audience, e.g. articles, white papers, infographics, emails, case studies and product collateral.
  • Plan monthly, quarterly and annual content strategy alongside the Group Content Manager
  • Build key relationships across the business to enhance your own understanding of any technical terms so that your content is always relevant
  • Develop and guard BrightHR’s tone of voice and style
  • Ensure digital content best practice through a real understanding of the latest techniques and technologies.
  • Monitor competitor activity, customer behaviour and the latest trends to improve the performance of your writing and content.
  • Ensure all copy and scripts are delivered to brief, on time, and to the required quality standards.

About you

You have worked in a very busy marketing department and have proven knowledge and experience of content marketing, showing a real talent for getting inside the minds of our customers with relevant and engaging content. You will have a track record of developing content from conception to delivery, plus you are a stickler for quality – copywriting and proofreading comes naturally to you. You’re a self-motivator, you love coming up with new and innovative ideas, but you’re also very much a team player and will feel right at home in our social company culture. Existing CMS experience is also highly desirable.
